Sankranthi...
It’s main festival to all the telugu people,they celebrate it really well, its actually 3days festival , my dads relations planned to celebrate the festival in our place and I was really busy with them for almost 10days.,,showin them all the happening places in the city, movies, goin out to restaurants and all…I din know how those 10 days went on as I was doin some work startin frm 9 in the morning to 11 in the nite.,had really gr8 fun, I really forgot my project work …they were really delayed ,worked on it but therez so much to do…wish I complete it by February midweek and can enjoy the rest of the time…..
All of my school mates decided to meet and finally,,,after 6 yrs…yes after 6yrs….we met ….i would say thanks to my friends kasi and sundeep for makin it possible,really felt happy to see all my old friends….we decided to go to a resort DREAMVALLEY .,I would say thanks to myself also as I contacted so many and planned abt this n finally success….cool….we decided to meet in STOP N GO a bakery, asusual all were late…started at 10 to DREAMVALLEY which is 30kms away frm the city….went there.,,,,had really gr8 fun over there….well played few games….then lunch in the resort itself …then yahoooo…well into the pool…..enjoyed for almost 3 hrs in the water….then played billiards n tabletennis to relax for fewmins,then had dinner at some DHABA ..cameback home at 10…..asusual dad started shoutin at me for being late….n pretty asusual,..i din care becoz I had enuf fun tht day n really forgot what my dad shouted on me also…..
January 6th ,ya im sure its on that day, CAT results were out,,,,well it was the results of just entry into IIMS not complete results….unfortunately none of us 3 were selected…,we knew this before only as each of them din clear the cutoff in one section,in the other 2 sections we did….and if we dunt clear in one section…over…no admission into IIM s anwyays after few days,we got the entire result…..i mean abt the percentile n marks we scored…..myself n komal dint check the results as I hav my own reason –I decided not to check….komals result wasn’t opening,we waited for the score cards to come home….anyways we got a good percentile to say on…of us 3,rohit topped and well,we dint apply for any of the institutes other than IIM s and if we would hav applied,definitely we would hav got seat in a good bschool.anyways we all hav only one dream..makin into IIMs well we will make it next year…hope so….
Well really it was a surprise for me itself,,, I thought its really time to take fone but decided strongly not to waste the time with this darling,,,. On 1st of January , myself,dad n mom were discussin abt my career,I mean he wanted to know my plans that’s it….i explained all my career plans to my dad and hope he was satisfied with that….i just asked “Dad,shall I take mobile ???” he replied “yes”,,well it was really a kind of surprise to me n immediately I told him thanks ,as soon as I got up in the next morning,the first thing I did is---askin my dad money for the mobile….he asked me to take it from my card….asked komal to come,.both of them liked and finally….SAMSUNG X200,it’s a new phone in the market now,I actually wanted only flip phones…most of my friends liked it ,even my dad n mom liked it.,,had a ready sim card at home,,called up all my dear friends and told them abt my new mobile….all of them asked treat,..next day we went to EATSTREET ….well,the pics were already posted by komal….see ya
Well what a way to start this new year…..On 30th of December I,komal n rohit were discussin what to do n how to start this fantastic year…..we really dun maintain our schedules…I mean each of them will be busy with their own,mostly we do all the short term plans n well it’s a hit…long term plans really dun work with us,I asked both of them to chill , we will decide on the day itself….finally 31st ke din,I was invited by my childhood friends….to join in the night and Rohit has to go to some community meeting,…so we guys planned for a dinner…we started at 10 ,komal bhai called and said YATRINIVAS(actually dunno the name of the restaurant inside it) which is quite a good place to eat ,I started from my friends place,actually there was other party… well asusual it was busy and so plan changed , a place in penderghast road…CURRY POT ,we had nice food over there ,spoke in the last few mins of the old year…then I left back to my party where all childhood friends were meetin ,after some 5 years…we are friends from 15yrs…..had a blast over there,then went back home around 2 30,slept nicely……..dreamt a lot that day…well …..dreams….will be in my next post……….
2day, had no coll or project work., so was feelin lazy n got up 4m my bed pretty late. Had a bad start though., fights n arguements with folks at home :( After that., ordered some food home., that has become so regular now that its not spl anymore ! Hmm..,after that.., wat did I do.., hmm yeah., wat else ., was online on orkut n downloadin music ! Then around 4:30., i tried to sleep., and managed to sleep 4 about an hour., only 4 an hour even though i was veeeeeeery sleepy.., coz I had to go to some place., some place to do somethin interesting., somethin that's been my dream since I was a little kid. I had my first (demo) guitar class 2day !!!!! Yeah ! thats right., GUITAR !! Its been a really big dream of mine. I've started n stopped trainin 4 a few other instruments b4, but, there's somethin spl n romantic bout the Guitar. I looked 4 a few institutes 4 learnin this magical instrument., I knew wat I wanted 4m then.,but everybody's dissapointed me.., but this place i went to 2day., they were just the ppl i was lookin 4 ! Young ( almost my age)., passionate bout learnin n teaching music.., and they teach just the way i want to learn ! The timings., fee.,etc etc are very flexible., wat more can I ask 4 ! I had a demo clas 2day., hope my dad'll let me join these guys. Many ppl wonderin., y guitar at this imp stage of life ., I'll say., this dream's very imp to me ., i have lots of free time in hand., if not now., thn may b I'll never get time to fullfill it ! N yeah.., i cud also use it while proposin to my girl whenever that'll be., whoever that is ;)
It was a Lovely evening. Slightly breezy., perfect temperature., NO traffic police on the road ! Me n the gang decided to meet up at Eat Street., one of the most happening places in Hyderabad. We met at Eat Street ., almost on time ! Gosh ! So rarely that happens ! It was an unplanned outing but finally was decided that the treat was on Karthik coz he got his new mobile phone. Cool ! We all tapped our wallets gently and smiled silently. Rajiv got a TINY pizza for 50 bucks + taxes. The rest of us got Chaat( which tasted weird that day but was still good coz we didnt pay 4 it ) n drinks. Then a small round of photoshoot with Rajiv yellin and attractin all the attention we cud hav asked 4 !
Time 4 desserts ! Ice creams 4 everybody !!! everybody took a cone and I asked 4 a speciality which i regretted later coz the cake was stinkin like it was made of grease ! Ice cream was good.
Then time 4 my experimental photography on the open roof top. We tried out a few pics in the cinematic 'Sepia' effect. Results were gr8 ! Here's one sweet fruit of my effort.
